Young Church

Young Church is a friendly and active group for children of all ages. They join the adults in the church at the 10:15 service. Then after the introductory song they leave to go to their own activities, which include songs, a story and usually something creative. Towards the end of the service, they come back in, receive a blessing at the communion rail, and tell everyone what they've been up to (to tumultuous applause!). Of course, they stay for All-Age Worship.

Social activities include barbecues, holiday clubs and parties.

Scout leaders wanted!

The Scouts would love to accommodate more children - there is quite a waiting list. But they can't expand unless they get more leaders and helpers. It might only be for cutting the grass!

Get in touch and come along and see what's involved, and how your skills and talents can be put to really good use. The children are from ages 6 to 14 - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

If this is something that you might be interested in, then contact Angela Clark on 874866.

Crèche at St. Michael's

The crèche welcomes babies and toddlers two and under, for the 10:15am Sunday services. Our crèche Leaders are CRB-checked parents/grandparents/carers with experience and a heart for children. Parents are free to come and settle their baby/toddler in, stay as needed, and then return to the service. Sometimes the crèche facility is merged with Young Church, especially when the activities lend themselves well for the babies/toddlers to have a try too!

Please note a crèche leader is not available for 'All-Age Worship’ but there will be toys available in the Belltower.
